1. Yes. The aperol spritz has become a very trendy drink for the last few years as more people are beginning to travel again and are starting to recognize and experience the tastiness of this drink. Not only does it have an “aesthetically pleasing,” look that is worthy of social media posts, it is also a crisp and refreshing drink often enjoyed in the summer. As a new trending drink, this emoji is also

• When compared to other popular cocktail drinks, the Aperol Spritz shows the most interest compared to “Bellini” and “Espresso Martini.” The only time that the Aperol Spritz is outranked by the Espresso Martini is during the winter seasons when that drink is more common. 

Multiple Uses:

Used to express “thirsty,” “cheers,”  and, for italians and many European countries, this is a classic drink for their pre-dinner drinks called “aperitivo”

Demand: 

With the Aperol Spritz gaining popularity across social platforms and mainstream media, the demand for it as an emoji has increased; this is mainly due to the popular TV series White Lotus. With the show highlighting the scenic views and atmosphere of Sciliy, Italy, many of the characters are seen enjoying an Aperol Spritz on the beautiful beaches. Viewers then started to glorify this lifestyle, or “aesthetic” that the characters lived and part of that included Aperol Spritz as they reflected a dreamy and lascivious life. The drink then became one of the popular of the summer in America, but what many do not know is that it is common all over Europe and has been for a while. It is most popular in Italy as a drink served with aperitivo—pre dinner drinks—and many other European countries follow this same lifestyle. Now, many people are enjoying Aperol Spritzes and now asking for an emoji on this iconic beverage.
